Hunting

Fish & Cross Ranch offers some of the best hunting and finest accommodations in the Flattops area. Our season runs from archery through rifle. 

Contact us now for 2009 reservations. Cabins will fill up quickly, and you may want to confirm availability before applying for 2009 draw-only hunts. Don't delay-the drawing is the first week in April, and we are currently accepting reservations.

The Fish & Cross Ranch began partnership with Pack Country Outfitters, LLC in 2007.  PCO is an established backcountry outfitting business that borders the F&C Ranch. Fishing

Highly suitable for native trout production, the ranch is located at the headwaters of the Yampa River and boasts meandering streams, large beaver ponds, and natural springs. We own over 780 acre-feet of water storage, which flows at 89 cubic feet per second! We also have a naturally occurring 104 degree hot-water well that flows at 4 cubic feet per second and provides another excellent resource. As one of our early expansion projects, Fish & Cross Ranch plans to develop the current streams into a world-class trout fishery in the next few years.

Additionally, the ranch offers easy access to some of the Flattops' best backcountry fly fishing. Day and extended trips, both guided and unguided, are available through Pack Country Outfitters at Packcountryoutfitters.com.
